Getting Sick.

Slowly, I think I am becoming ill.
Sore throat when I woke up, and now I can feel my sinuses becoming blocked and a headache coming on.
I have a feeling I may be in bed for the next few days (and not in a good way).
I just want to watch my 'Keeping Up Appearances' DVDs and drink some lemon tea.
Off to have a bath now, hopefully it will make me feel better as I am going to put in my marshmallow bath bomb.
I do hope everyone else is feeling great.
Love to all,
Smitty.

  1. I have sinuses which are, apparently, smaller then usual. My mother was asthmatic but had hay fever for much oc her adult life. As a boy I used to get endless sore throats.

Ever since it's been sinus infections. If anyone around has a cold or flu or any virus remotely affecting those areas, then chances are I'll pick it up.

Paracetamol, loads of fluids and not doing very much are my remedies. An ideal time for cruising around a few blogs and the net in general - or, yes - watching a DVD.

Take care and I hope it goes away very soon.

  4. Wait, did you say Keeping up Appearances DVD?

I love Hyacinth Bucket! Patricia Rutludeg is brilliant as the wacky Hyacinth. That alone should make you feel better; forget the meds!

(Of course, I'm not a real doctor, so........)

    Feel better.

(Oh, I hope you don't mind that I put a link to your blog on mine.)
