Hopping Mad.

Just hopped out of the shower and I feel fucking awesome!
I am in the mood to go out and shop, possibly catch a movie and browse book stores for books on grammar and punctuation (Yes, I do actually buy and read those books).

I am fully aware that the title has little to no relation to this post right now, (just as Prince Harry has little to no relation to Prince Charles, OH SNAP!) however I can't keep from feeling its accurate. Possibly because I am, quite, quite mad on the inside. But, I am aware that I can not actually be going mad, because I am completely aware of what is happening, and they say that truly crazy or mad people believe they are becoming more sane, when no, they are going crazy. Sorry if that confused you, I am rambling because of my good mood.

I also just realized today that I plan out my outfits, try on multiple combinations until I am finally happy with what I am wearing. Today, I went for a slightly 50's preppy look with a plain white t-shirt, plain blue denim jeans, with the cuffs rolled up, white all star shoes, a black long-sleeved v-neck sweater with that diamond pattern on the front, black wayfarers and I have ever so nicely parted my hair down one side. I am oddly happy with this.

Here is something that is well overdue. Thank you very much to ALL of my subscribers. I am glad that my little writings of nothing have interested you enough to follow me and my thoughts and wonderings, or, lately, my complaining.

Signing off for today,
All my love,
Smitty.

Just Amazing.

Kings of Leon are simply amazing.
From the first time I heard their album 'Aha Shake Heartbreak' back in 2005 I knew I was in love with these musical gods.
The day after I listened to this album, I went straight back to the store to purchase a copy of 'Youth and Young Manhood'. Both albums were filled with gold for the ears and I soaked it all up with an excitement I don't often feel.
I have, of course bought their following albums, 'Because of the Times', and more recently, 'Only by the Night', each time, never failing to be impressed with what they have created.
But for me, their highlights were definitely with the album 'Aha Shake Heartbrake'. This could be due to many a thing however.
That album is filled with Senior High School memories for me. It recalls where I met my best friend, it allows me to remember how we skipped classes, instead deciding to travel into the heart of Sydney just to get a coffee and cupcake from one of our favourite places ever. It reminds me of more carefree times and I think that is why it is so highly praised by myself.
I recall many times wondering through the shopping centre singing lyrics to a multitude of their songs with friends, laughing when we would sing the wrong line, all the time playing just awful air-guitar.
I have some lyrics, beautifully written on the inside of my old school folder, not by me, but by my best friend, to entertain us from concentrating in Ancient History. They are fully illustrated and I actually still own the folder, although it is no longer in use (preservation methods).

After all this I don't really know where I am going with this post, other than, perhaps you might like to share your favourite album, and why it is your favourite. I just thought I might share a little bit more of myself with the blog community.

Love Smitty.

Watching movies.

Hello lovely blog world.
Just a short blog for today as it has been a couple of days since my last blog.
Good news, I am much, much better.
Huzzah and three cheers for my immune system!!!

That being said, I have had a good time being sick in the sense that I could sleep as much as I wanted and I had lots of time to watch movies and stuff that I had been wanting to watch but never got around to doing, such as sideways (I was most underwhelmed with it) and the first terminator (I had seen the second and third, not yet the 4th, but had never see the 1st).

It may still be a couple of days till I am back to my full self, but when I am..... I don't know, I will go on as I normally would I guess.

Well, love to all and I can't explain to you all how excited I am for the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!!!

All I want to do...

Is have some fun,
But I am still ill with a temp of 38.1 Degrees Celsius.
I may just curl up into a ball and cry for the next few days...
On a bad note, I nearly had to go to the Hospital as I started to have another nose bleed. However it was running out in a small stream for like 15 minutes before it calmed down and eventually stopped. (Sorry for the graphics). So I called emergency services and they just spoke me through what to do for the next week and what have you and blah blah blah.
Sorry for all the whining but I will be over this soon I hope and get to talk about some happier subjects such as the all new Reno 911 on television tonight.

Love to all and I hope you are well and not incredibly ill like I.

Getting Sick.

Slowly, I think I am becoming ill.
Sore throat when I woke up, and now I can feel my sinuses becoming blocked and a headache coming on.
I have a feeling I may be in bed for the next few days (and not in a good way).
I just want to watch my 'Keeping Up Appearances' DVDs and drink some lemon tea.
Off to have a bath now, hopefully it will make me feel better as I am going to put in my marshmallow bath bomb.
I do hope everyone else is feeling great.
Love to all,
Smitty.

Photographs

Just like so many other people, I am a big fan of photography.
I decided to showcase some images of one of my all time favourite artists.
His name is Terry Richardson.
He uses a point and shoot approach to his photography which is not so common these days.
He has worked on many campaigns for labels such as 'Levi' and 'Tom Ford'. He was the photographer for Justin Timberlakes album cover for 'FutureSex/LoveSounds' (The one with Justin Stomping on the mirror ball) and he has shot for the likes of Rolling Stone, Bazaar, and many many more. Might I ask you to search some more of his photos and dare to fall in love with them as I have.
Well anyway, here is a very small sampling of my favourite photos from him.

Macaulay Culkin

Kate Moss

Batman & Robin

James Franco

President Barrack Obama

Excitement.

Just got back from going to the movies with a super hot guy.
We may have made out in the back row like teenagers. :D
All I know was I had heaps of fun.
We went for dinner before hand, I had the most amazing Tiramisu I have ever had in my whole life.
All in all, had a good evening. Now, I am about to watch K. Rudd on Rove, sure to be good.
I am in such a good mood.
Hope everyone has had a great day and love to all.
